A Straunge And Terrible Wunder is the third album from The Breedling, inspired by the folklore legend of the giant hellhound Black Shuck and the aftermath of the infamous East Anglian cryptid’s first recorded appearance in August 1577.
The Breedling is the musical pseudonym of Norfolk-based artist Chris Spalton. Spalton works in the storytelling tradition, focusing on local folklore, communicating old tales in new ways using illustration, film and sound. Sometimes the communication is direct and linear, sometimes abstract and uncanny.
