The first record that probably most made me want to make music was No Doubts Tragic Kingdom. My cousin and I would pretend we were in a band together, she would sing Gwens parts and I was always the drummer. That record got me really hyped to play music.

The greatest feel good album of all time! Don’t Lose Your Cool by Diamond Youth. Incredible band and one of the best power pop/rock albums of the past 20 years.

When I’m feeling like a true, blue sad sap my go to is none of than Fantastic Planet by Failure. Heck, it’s even in the name of the band.

My favorite cover art is almost impossible to pinpoint but at this very moment I’d have to give it to Vheissu by Thrice. That being said though a lot of 90s pop punk/emo adjacent bands have some fantastic artwork like Nothing Feels Good by The Promise Ring.

The strangest LP I own, that prize lays with Trash Generator by Tera Melos only because it’s pretty out of my normal wheelhouse of music. Though Disco Volante by Mr. Bungle could also land there.
The rarest LP I own is…
I haven’t gotten to the point of owning any particularly rare vinyls in the traditional sense mainly because I have no money. However I do own quite a few vinyl of small/lesser known bands and when those bands do blow up I will be repping that old school cool!
The last LP I bought was…
The last Vinyl I bought was The Civil Wars self titled! One of my favorites to this day, a sublime record that sounds even better on wax!
