“Killing the Messenger” is a fast-paced modern metal tune, ripe with the heavy guitars and explosive lead & harmonic vocals that underline the unique sound of Oceans on Orion and their polished blend of 80’s golden era vocals with modern riffing & tone. The song explores misdirected anger, self-denial, and the price they exact on those who get too used to killing the messengers in their lives.
