Thrill Jockey is excited to announce the signing of Montreal trio BIG|BRAVE. The Canadian trio recently finished recording their debut Thrill Jockey album with Seth Manchester at Machines with Magnets. BIG|BRAVE’s 6th full length will be mastered at Metropolis Mastering in the UK. The new album is soaked in layers of feedback and pounding minimalistic drums, departing from themes explored in their monolithic 2021 release Vital. BIG|BRAVE have tapped into their foundational elements of exploiting sonic themes such as fragility, space and tranquility.
BIG|BRAVE announced an extensive European tour this spring, including sets at Roadburn Festival, Intonal Festival, Young Team Fest, and Dunk! Festival. They have plans for more touring in support of their acclaimed collaborative album with The Body, Leaving None But Small Birds.
