This time around we feature the young collection of musician Danny Tatom, the man behind the electronic sludgecore project Rabitrup.

The first record I ever bought with my own money was…

I’m not really sure, I’m pretty new to collecting records. Was always too broke to spend money on anything but cigarettes. I think it was Xen by Arca because it had an art book. The first CD I ever bought was probably The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza by The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza. The first I ever owned though was E. 1999 Eternal from Bone Thugs N Harmony that I got from my mom.

The record that made me want to make music was…

Man that’s a hard one, it wasn’t any one record, and I didn’t really start collecting records until after I started making music. I think originally it was bands like The Number 12, Daughters, The Sawtooth Grin, and The Blood Brothers though.

The record I’ve played more than any other is…

As the Roots Undo by Circle Takes the Square. If not the one I’ve listened to the most, definitely the one that had the most impact on me. Every song on that album still gives me chills.

The record that always make me feel good is…

Nothing specific, just anything not sad.

The record I turn to when I’m feeling down is…

I can’t front, it’s Fevers and Mirrors from Bright Eyes. I had a friend in high school who gave me her whole Bright Eyes collection when she moved off to college.

The record with my favorite cover art is…

Probably the same Arca record from above, or Nostril by Igorrr.

The strangest LP I own is…

The Scream soundtrack. I don’t think I’ve even listened to it, I just really like that movie.

The rarest LP I own is…

My friend’s new record, No Flowers by Crowfeeder.

The last LP I bought was…

World of Grief by I Hate Sex.
